Bikers Brave Blizzard to Bring Fallen Marine Home

Thirty-seven bikers rode 1,200 miles through a fierce winter storm to honor Marine Corporal Danny Chen. The military had delayed transporting his remains, citing unsafe conditions, leaving his mother, Sarah Chen, heartbroken. Danny had requested to be buried in his hometown of Millfield, Montana, beside his father, who died riding his Harley when Danny was twelve.
When Sarah shared her plea in a Gold Star Mothers Facebook group, the Rolling Thunder motorcycle club sprang into action. Within hours, they arrived at Fort Carson, Colorado, ready to transport Danny’s flag-draped casket in a custom motorcycle hearse.
