Natalie Jackson Today: The Little Superhero Living Her Best Life
The anticipation of a new baby is always a mix of excitement and nerves—but for Andrew and Lacey Jackson, parents to two boys, Elliott and Devin, welcoming their baby girl Natalie was unforgettable.
When Natalie was born, her first cries brought tears of joy. But joy quickly mingled with fear when the nurse revealed a large dark mark on the left side of her face.
“She was so beautiful, but I worried it looked like a bruise or something I’d done during pregnancy,” Lacey recalled. Doctors reassured them it was just a birthmark, and Natalie was healthy.
Even so, Lacey and Andrew worried about how others might perceive their daughter. “As I cuddled her, I feared people would focus only on her birthmark, not the amazing person she would grow to be,” Lacey said. From that moment, they made a promise: Natalie would grow up surrounded by love, confidence, and the knowledge that she could achieve anything.
Her older brothers were curious about the mark. Andrew turned it into something magical, telling them it was Natalie’s superhero mask—a sign she was destined for amazing things.
