Before his disappearance, Diego Londoño had been an active member of his community and passionate about music and philosophy. Sadly, he had been struggling with senile dementia, which made him especially vulnerable when he went missing.
Thanks to Amy Solano’s persistence, local authorities stepped in. Diego was safely taken into custody by the Peruvian National Police (PNP) in Chiclayo.
After confirming his identity, officials contacted his family, who were overjoyed to learn that Diego was alive and safe after two long years of uncertainty and heartbreak.
According to reports, Diego will soon travel from Chiclayo to Lima, and then continue on to Colombia to finally reunite with his family.
This incredible story shows how the power of social media — and the kindness of one determined influencer — can truly change lives.
