The First Ever Albino Twins Born in Argentina Stunned the World

It’s not often that a single birth captures global attention — but in 2018, something truly extraordinary happened in Argentina.
Virginia and Catalina, twin girls born to Jorge and his wife, became instant headlines the moment their photos appeared online. Their striking snow-white hair and porcelain skin left people around the world in awe.
The proud parents already had one son, but nothing could prepare them for the surprise that awaited when their twin daughters entered the world at 36 weeks. Despite being premature, both babies were perfectly healthy.
“When they told us we were having twins, we were overjoyed. And when they were born and we saw they were albinos, that happiness didn’t change at all. For us, it was a blessing,” said their father, Jorge, in an interview with LV12.
Doctors were amazed. Neither parent had visible signs of albinism, and the twins’ snow-white hair was unlike anyone in their family. Catalina and Virginia were later confirmed to be the first albino twins ever born in Argentina, a truly historic moment.
