From Co-Stars to Lifelong Soulmates

Hewitt and Hallisay’s love story began in 2011 when they met on NBC’s Love Bites. While nothing sparked romantically then, fate brought them together again on The Client List in 2012. Hewitt remembers thinking, “I’m going to marry that man, and I’m going to have his children,” drawn to both his looks and his devotion to family.

The couple exchanged private vows in their Los Angeles backyard just days before welcoming their first child, Autumn, in 2013, later recreating the ceremony with both children as witnesses. Despite their busy lives with three children, Hewitt emphasizes, “I really do wake up and choose Brian every day. He continues to choose me, thank God.”

The pair also blend personal and professional lives. In 2024, they reunited in the Lifetime Christmas movie The Holiday Junkie, honoring Hewitt’s late mother. Hewitt explains, “It was special having him there. It’s like our little Christmas love letter that we’ll always have.” She also drew inspiration from her mother’s story for her book Inheriting Magic, discovering closeness and meaning through creative work.
