Three Putman Family Members Killed, Five Injured After Truck Crashes Into Their Car

Tragedy struck the Putman family, known for their TLC show Meet the Putmans, when three members were killed in a horrific car crash. Five others, including four children, were rushed to the hospital after a semi-truck allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with their vehicle.
According to the family’s statement shared on social media, the victims included grandparents Bill (“Papa Bill”) and Barb (“Neenee”), as well as daughter-in-law Megan. The post read: “They have gone back to be with the Lord.”
Megan’s partner, Blake, along with their three children — Lulu, Noah, and Alena — as well as niece Gia, sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
The crash occurred Friday night in Tuscola County, Michigan, nearly 100 miles north of Detroit. Police responded to reports of the collision between two vehicles around 9 p.m.
Authorities arrested a 55-year-old man from Florida at the scene. He allegdly ran the stop sign while driving a commercial semi-truck with a female passenger. The truck struck the Jeep carrying eight members of the Putman family, claiming the lives of Barb, Bill, and Megan at the scene.
