Every year, millions of pets are abandoned, leaving them confused, scared, and heartbroken. According to the ASPCA, around 6.5 million animals enter shelters in the U.S. annually, and nearly half of these are dogs. Sadly, only about half of them find loving homes, while the rest either spend their lives in shelters or, in some cases, are euthanized to make room for others.
Even in shelters, these animals rarely get the attention, exercise, or affection they deserve. Many of them could bring endless joy to a family if only given the chance.
