A Morning Disaster I’ll Never Forget

Have you ever had a kitchen mishap so shocking you still remember it years later? For me, it started with what seemed like a harmless mistake — placing a hot lid upside down on my brand-new glass-top stove. Within seconds, I heard a sharp crack. My heart sank. The glass had fractured, and the stove I’d just bought was ruined. I never imagined a simple lid could cause that kind of damage. That day, I learned a valuable lesson about respecting heat and understanding how fragile kitchen appliances can be.
